21Feb20 – Friday – 8am Pick Up – Half Day 06 Hour Tour
Tour will start visiting the Sugar Loaf Mountains, where passengers will ride the World Famous Cable Cars, in two steps, all the way to the top of the Urca Hill, 215 meters high for which already grants beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, Niterói Beaches and the Corcovado Mountain. Visit will last approx 1 hour and a half.
After Sugar Loaf visit, Tour will continue to the Christ Statue – Pre-scheduled Train Tickets – No lines to go Up the Hill. Ride the Iconic Train to the top of the Corcovado Hill. Visit will last appox 1 hour. During Carnival, please expect big lines for the Return Train ride that unfortunately cannot be prescheduled (only going up). It´s very important all passengers are together in the line so they can all catch the same return train, otherwise it will cause an inconvenient delay.
2-Day Tour was designed for passengers watching the Carnival Parade on Friday Night. Friday Early Tour Pick Up, so passengers can rest the entire afternoon and save the energies for the very long evening. Saturday Pick Up at 10am so everyone can have a couple of hours extra sleep.

22Feb20 – Saturday – 10am Pick Up – Full Day 08 Hour Tour
Tour will in start in Ipanema Beach, where passengers will have 1 hour and 45 minutes at Leisure to join a Street Party called “Empolga às 9”, swim in the ocean, walk the boardwalk, or seat by a Kiosk for drinks and snacks. The beach front avenue is closed for traffic and it becomes a huge boulevard, almost half of the locals will be wearing costumes, the atmosphere is amazing and everyone is in a great party mood. Ipanema, located in the South Zone of Rio, is a 2km (1.25 miles) long beach, and it´s definitely Rio´s most sophisticated and upscale neighborhood. It stretches from Posto 7 in “Arpoador” Beach (lifeguard watchtower Seven) to Posto Doze (lifeguard watchtower Twelve) in Leblon Beach. Ipanema is divided in 3 areas, Arpoador (north end), Ipanema and Leblon (south end).
After Ipanema, tour will continue to Fogo de Chão All you can Eat Brazilian Regional Barbecue (Almost US$60 Value). Fogo de Chão is one of the best Brazilian Churrascaria Style Restaurants in Rio de Janeiro and in Brazil, with gorgeous views of the Guanabara Bay. Fogo de Chão has branches in Mexico, Dubai, and more than 10 ones in the United States. Fogo de Chão BBQ Lunch will have 1 hour and 45 minutes duration.

Copacabana Beach, which during the Holiday is also closed for traffic, and where part of the Carnival action takes place as well. Visit will last from 60-90 minutes, depending on the traffic.
Copacabana Beach, also located in the South Zone of the city, is known for its 4 km (2.5 miles) beach, which is one of the most famous in the world, and stretches from Posto Um (lifeguard watchtower One) in Leme Beach, to Posto Seis (lifeguard watchtower Six). Leme Beach is the beginning of Copacabana Beach (first blocks). There are historic forts at both ends of Copacabana beach; Fort Copacabana, built in 1823, is at the south end by Posto Seis and Fort Duque de Caxias, built in 1779, at the north end in Leme.
Optional Visit to Copacabana Fort (south end) available for the Group. Entrance fee of R$10/US$2.75 not included (must inform the guide in advance, for parking logistics).
After Copacabana, around 4:15pm, Tour will continue to Old Downtown Rio (Panoramic Tour), with a short stop at “Selaron Stairs” for Pictures. 5:20pm Return to the Port.
Tour might suffer some adjustments based on the Street Parties schedulling which (sometimes) unfortunately differs from one year to another. Street Parties Schedule is released by the City of Rio 1 month prior the holiday. Any changes, passengers will be notified via email.

Tour might suffer some adjustments because of the Christ Statue Train Tickets, which during Cruise Ship Days, are not always available for the day/time we have previously scheduled for the Tour. We might even need to switch and have all passengers going to the Christ in the Morning or the following day. Any adjustments, passengers will definitely be notified via email.
