1st StopChrist Statue – An art deco statue located on top of Corcovado Hill, 709 meters above sea level, in Tijuca National Park, overlooking most of Rio de Janeiro, granting the most beautiful views of the city. In 2007, it was informally selected as one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Pre-Scheduled Train Tickets going up the Hill. Skip the line! The visit will last approx. 2 hours.
It´s very important all passengers are together in line so they can all catch the same return train, otherwise, it will cause an inconvenient delay.
After the Christ visitation, the Tour will continue to Ipanema Beach with a Panoramic Ride through Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, one of the most beautiful post-cards of the Marvellous City. The lagoon is currently one of the main tourist attractions in the city of Rio. It is known as “The Heart of Rio de Janeiro”, due to its heart-like shape. It is a region of upper-middle and upper classes, with one of the highest levels of human development in the country. Since 1995, at Christmas time, there has been a tradition of setting up a gigantic illuminated Christmas tree, taking advantage of its reflecting pool.
2nd Stop – Ipanema Beach (Arpoador) – Its sands mark the history of Bossa Nova music. Ipanema is among the favorite beaches of Cariocas for its charm and relaxation, world-renowned for the song “Girl from Ipanema”, by Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Morais. The beach is a meeting point for young residents and enchanted tourists. Ipanema has one of the highest square ft prices in Latin America.  The beach is used for the practice of various sports, in addition to being the stage for outdoor concerts. Cariocas and tourists usually sit on its sands, in the late afternoon, to chat and applaud the magnificent sunset. On Sundays, the lanes along the waterfront are closed until 6 pm for vehicles and free for the leisure of Cariocas. Walking distance to Copacabana Beach. Passengers will have approx. 20 minutes for Pictures, to seat at a Kiosk for refreshments.
3rd Stop – Copacabana Beach – Brazil´s most famous beach, Copacabana is located in the heart of the luxurious Zona Sul (South Zone) neighborhood. The beach is marked by Postos, or lifeguard stands, that offer changing rooms and restrooms for a small fee. Copacabana’s 2.5-mile stretch of sand runs from Posto 1 to Posto 6, where you’ll find a peninsula that houses the Historical Museum of the Army and Copacabana Fort.
Brimming with authentic eats, lavish accommodations, and the beautiful Avenida Atlantica sideway made of mosaic tiles, Copacabana Beach boasts much more than powdery sands. Recent visitors raved about the beach and said the people-watching is some of the best in the world. Passengers will have 20 minutes for Pictures, to seat at a Kiosk for refreshments.
4th Stop – Assador Rio´s Steakhouse – The incredible view of Botafogo cove and Sugarloaf Mountain make Assador Rio´s steakhouse one of the most beautiful in the country. This authentic top-notch All-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ Restaurant offers a vast buffet of salads and hot dishes, and a carvery of excellent meats served efficiently. Assador Rio´s has a US$50 value per person. Beverages and desserts are not included. Assador belongs to the same owners of Fogo de Chão although they serve better cuts and the location is also more upscale with a much better view. Lunch will last approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Assador´s website – http://assador.com.br/
5th Stop – Sugarloaf Mountains (Fast-Pass on both ways) – From Praia Vermelha, the visitants take the first tram linked to the Urca hill, and from there, a second tram takes them to the top of the Sugar Loaf hill, 396 meters above sea level. Inaugurated in 1912, the little tram of the Sugarloaf was the first Brazilian cable car and the third in the world, linking Urca hill to Sugarloaf mountain. The peak of the two mountains reveals the gorgeous landscapes of the city, including Botafogo Bay, Copacabana Beach, and the entrance of Guanabara Bay. The visit will last approx.2 hours.

Return to the Port 25 minutes before the tour ends.
