Over 400 Blocos will perform 462 Street Parties during the 2026 Rio de Janeiro Carnival.
The City of Rio released an online calendar for all the Street Parties – https://www.carnavalderua.rio/
DoBrazilRight selected the best parties in town from over 450. These parties are an excellent opportunity to visit gorgeous residential neighborhoods like Leblon, Gavea, Jardim Botânico, Botafogo, Flamengo, Laranjeiras, and Santa Teresa and party like a native. Parties with the Yellow Highlight are definitely the most traditional ones and an absolute blast!
DoBrazilRight highly recommends all customers pick at least one party in Santa Teresa (Céu na Terra Sat AM is a great way to start the festivities), at least one party at Aterro do Flamengo, a beautiful park that hosts only the top-rated parties with highlights to Sargento Pimenta (Sgt Pepper, play only Beatles Songs on Samba rhythm), and Gloria that will host Orquestra Voadora (one of our favorites of all time).
Banda de Ipanema and Simpatia é Quase Amor are the biggest parties in the Copacabana/Ipanema area. They are a lot of fun since they take place on the beachfront in Ipanema, and you can always hang out and party at the same time. Leblon, Gávea, and Jardim Botanico parties are also a lot of fun, and they are in very upscale neighborhoods!
South Zone – Flamengo, Botafogo, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and São Conrado Beaches, plus Lagoa, Gavea, Catete, Laranjeiras and Jardim Botânico.
Downtown Area – Lapa and Santa Teresa
