Rio Carnival Sambadrome Transfers.

Grandstand Sectors (except Sector 9) – Pick Up – 7pm (to get a good spot in the front)

Open Front Boxes and Grandstand Sector 9 – Pick Ups – 8 pm recommended (Assigned seats, no need to arrive early at all​).

The Pick-up/Meeting Point will be in FRONT OF TERMINAL 4 EXIT. 

Attention all Fred Olsen guests! Please select the 8 PM shuttle on February 14, 2026.

An electronic voucher to board the buses will be required on both sides and will be emailed around Jan/Feb.

Transfer Staff will be wearing white T-Shirts with Orange Sleeves and holding ORANGE Flags.

Return buses will leave the Sambadrome at the end of each Samba Group Parade. 4 groups are parading per Night, and each group has 70 minutes to parade, which means there´ll be Buses leaving the Sambadrome at 4 different times, “always at the end of each parade”, starting with the first one.

The Meeting Point for the Return is at the Parking Lot by the Sambadrome behind Sector 9 (odd Sectors) and behind Sector 8 (even Sectors), the same places you will disembark when arriving at the Sambadrome. Please click on the above Pictures for the Staff Uniform and Tourist Bus Station (Parking Lot) Direction Sign from inside the Sambadrome.

Transfer Uniformed Staff will be spread all over the Sambadrome, holding Orange Flags, to assist you on your return.

Return Transfers— Passengers must be very patient due to the Congestion of people, vehicles, and floaters. This is especially true when returning to the Port, where numerous roadblocks and detours constantly change, giving the impression that the driver is lost.

Cancellation Policy during the Carnival Holiday 

√ Carnival Sambadrome Transfers are fully refundable if canceled 21 days in Advance. In less than 20 days, a 30% ADM Fee will be charged to cover all non-refundable deposits made to Service Providers.

A 4% Stripe fee will be charged on any refunded credit card transactions.
