Highly recommended if you are visiting Rio on a cruise. Marcelo is very responsive and everything ran very smoothly. Did the one and a half day tour which was excellent. Easy to find at the cruise terminal, all very well organised, lovely helpful tour guide and good value for money. Also provided ticket and transfers for Carnival at the Sambadrome. Marcelo is outstanding!
Outstanding! Marcelo was terrific! He was very communicative and extremely helpful. We did the day and half tour of Rio first. Great trips on the cable car and to Christ the Redeemer, with tickets provided. Delicious lunch! Then Carnaval at the Sambadrome. It is impossible to describe the experience--such color, singing and dancing, such excitement! One of the best experiences imaginable! Marcelo recommended our seats--they were at eye level with the performers. One blew kisses at me! The transportation arrangements were very good. I was initially concerned about safety, but we were very safe getting there, and we felt quite safe in the Sambadrome. Great experience of Rio de Janerio
The one and half day tour included Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redemmer.We also had carnival seats where excellent. Do Brazil Right delivered everything they promised and more The reviews they get show this Marcelo is very responsive to questions on email and we took his recommendation on carnival seats. What a city!
We have just returned to the UK after an amazing holiday in South America. While in Rio de Janeiro, we used DoBrazilRight for all of our tours. We booked a day and a half intensive tour, visiting all the major sights. This tour was top notch. Our tour guide, Renato, was fabulous and looked after us so well. The cable car tickets to visit Sugar Loaf mountain and the train tickets to visit Christ the Redeemer were all booked in advance enabling us to skip the queues. The city was magnificent. We also booked our tickets to visit the Sambadrome for the Carnival with DoBrazilRight. What can I say about the carnival? It was truly brilliant and breathtaking. I have never seen anything like it and I’m unlikely to see anything like it again. What a show, what a night. We stayed right to the very end and the schools got better and better. We arrived back at our accommodation at 7.45am exhausted but exhilarated. Marcelo's communications were excellent and kept in touch to ensure we had a great time. And we did. Best way to get Rio Carnival tickets
Started corresponding with Marcelo long before our trip to make sure we got the right seats to watch the Carnival. He explained the options and so we purchased his recommendation (Sector 9 assigned seat). It really worked out well. Marcello was outside the cruise terminal at the time he said, for us to collect our tickets (Panic over!). He gave us our seat tickets and the transfer to and from the Sambadrome. On the night, because we had assigned seats, we caught the 9pm transfer to the Sambadrome - others had to go much earlier and just wait. We found our seats relatively easily and we had a great view (until people started standing up - but they soon got bored / tired). Do take a cheap inflatable cushion (£4.99 from Amazon UK) as the seats are just marks on the concrete. We met others on the cruise who had bought much more expensive places in boxes and they had to stand to see anything and they were too low down and too far back. They did get refreshments - so what - we went for the view and the drama. Getting back to the port was a doddle. As we walked out of the stadium agents in "T" shirts spotted us and asked where we were going back to. When we said the port that put us in a group until there were about 15 of us (5 minutes max) then they walked us to a minibus which got us back in no time. Thank you Marcello and the "DoBrazilRight" team. Rio Carnival via DoBrazilRight
We booked our tickets through DoBrazilRight, and their advice made it a simple process. It is definitely worth paying a little more for seats, rather than standing. An excellent one-stop shop for a trip to Rio (especially Carnaval).
My wife found the site, and after reading some reviews, I decided to book with DoBrazilRight.com. I am writing this review the day I came back. We decided to do the Champions Parade package (mainly because of timing - our first day in Rio was the last day of Carnaval proper), with hotel, full day tour, airport transfers, and Champions Box seats. Admittedly, it was a last minute on our part (1 month before), but we decided to try. Marcelo was there from start to finish. From the beginning, he advised us on hotel, and he was spot on when he got us a room at the Arena Leme hotel, with one of the best views we had during any hotel stay, with a beautiful rooftop area where we could have Spanish food. He also advised us on and got us great box tickets for the Champions Parade, and these did not disappoint. Transfers to and from the airport and the Sambadrome were a breeze, with Marcelo communicating with us through WhatsApp all the way (highly recommend getting a SIM for Brazil and using WhatsApp there) - the Portuguese drivers were very friendly and cordial and are ready to help. The one day Rio Tour included Corcovado/Christ the Redeemer, Selaron steps, and Sugar Loaf/Pao do Assucar, all with a private guide who spoke excellent English (Leo), who was very informative and professional, and a great source on information on Brazilian/Rio history, restaurant recommendations, and had a great sense of humor. If I had any questions during the trip, Marcelo was there to help us. If you need a one-stop shop for a trip to Rio (especially for Carnaval), I would recommend DoBrazilRight.com without reservations. Reliable Carnival ticket provider
We took a leap of faith and bought box seat tickets from Marcelo. Tickets were delivered during airport transfer as promised. At the carnival, the people around us also used his services. Highly recommend DoBrazilRight and Marcelo as your travel agent. It was our first time to South American and being there during Carnival was a bucket list trip for us. It was also our first time using a travel agent so were a bit nervous but Marcelo made the whole process easy and stress free. He kept us informed and was very quick to respond to all of our emails. We did the 8-hr day tour of the Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Selaron Stairway and the Cinelandia Square with lunch at Fogo De Chao restaurant. Renato was our tour guide and he was excellent. If you're there in Rio to see these sights, definitely spring for the 8-hr with lunch vs the 6-hr. On top of the fact that you're eating at the one of the most well known steakhouses in Rio, it was also nice to sit down for a bit between sites. Renato also made us a reservation at Restaurant Marius Degustare. It was right next door to our hotel and was like nothing we've ever seen before. It is a must visit! And, of course, the highlight of the trip was the parade at the Sambadrome. To see it in person is so much more incredible than I could ever describe. Whichever tour you decide to go on or whatever activity you want to do, DoBrazilRight is who you need to use. Fantastic Carnaval/Rio de Janeiro vacation
We had a fantastic time in Rio for Carnaval. We worked with Marcelo who crafted the perfect itinerary for our 5 night stay. Everything from flights, hotel, transportation, full day tour and tickets to the parade were all arranged for us. It made for a stress free vacation and an incredible experience. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The full day tour was great as well. Renato was our guide and was very knowledgeable and helped us capture great photos.
