São Paulo is Brazil’s biggest city and financial center, and it earned its title thanks to the work of immigrants: people from Northeast Brazil who came to work in industrial complexes and construction; Italians, attracted by coffee production; and the Japanese. The city’s name honors the Apostle, Saint Paul of Tarsus. The city’s metropolitan area, Greater São Paulo, ranks as the most populous in Brazil and the 12th most populous on Earth.
The tour will visit the main points of the City of São Paulo, such as the imposing Sé Cathedral and the Patio do Colégio, the founding place of the most influential capital in Brazil. From downtown, we’ll head to the Liberdade neighborhood, the Japanese face of the City of São Paulo, from where we’ll head to one of the most sophisticated areas of São Paulo, the Avenida Paulista region, in Jardins Neighborhood.
All-you-can-eat BBQ Lunch included @ top-notch Fogo de Chão Jardins. Includes free water, natural juices, and soft drinks for the entire stay at the restaurant. One tea or one coffee, plus one dessert per person also included (approx. US$60 value per person).
Continuing with the tour, we will visit Ibirapuera Park, with its immense green area of 160 hectares, important city landmarks such as the Monument to the “Bandeirantes” and the works of the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer such as the Oca, the Auditorium, and the Obelisk.
Return to the Port with arrival one hour before the ship departs.

The trip from Santos to São Paulo is approximately 70-80 minutes each way, and while the tour includes moderate walking at the stops, it is primarily a panoramic tour through the city’s main points of interest. In addition, significant traffic delays within the city are very common and unfortunately, sometimes require a change in the tour itinerary or a reduction in the number of sites visited.

We start working on these groups most of the time a year in advance, and to guarantee the best vehicles and tour guides, especially on Cruise Ship dates, the busiest of the year, non-refundable prepayments and deposits are required by our tour providers and partners throughout Brazil.
