Officially, the 2022 Rio Carnival starts on the 26th of February, Saturday. The main Carnival events are the Parades held at the Sambadrome. It´s a fierce competition and the main parades take place on Sunday and Monday (27th & 28th of Feb), although on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th, we have the so-called Access Group Parades, a Second Division of Samba Groups competing, and the winner gets upgraded to the main parades the next year. There are many super traditional Samba Groups parading on Friday and Saturday, and they get better and better every year, making this Friday  this event one of the highlights of the entire trip.

The great thing about Friday Parade is the price. We can get you the best seat in the entire venue, Front Box on Sectors 5, 7, or 9, Row A Guaranteed, very centrally located and the closest to the parade (you´ll be able to touch the costumes) for R$965/US$173 per person, while the same seat on Sunday or Monday costs almost three times more expensive. Customers who purchase the Rio Shore Excursion, or at least 2 other Shore Excursions anywhere in Brazil will get an extra R$150 discount per Box Ticket, dropping the price to R$815/US$146 approx. per person, on Row A. DoBrazilRight will work its hardest to confirm all Parade Box Tickets together, side by side, for all Oceania Marina Passengers, on either Sectors 5, 7, or 9. Each Box fits 6 people, and that is very possible especially on the Friday parade, based on previous year´s experiences for the Marina Passengers.

We can also reserve Round Trip Sambadrome Transfers for R$300/US$53 per person (already with a Special Discount of R$59 for passengers who purchase the Parade Tickets – Coupon Code SHUTTLE). Sambadrome Transfers will pick you up at the Port, right outside Passengers Terminal # 4 at pre-scheduled times, and will drop you off inside the Venue (which is an amazing plus). Return Buses leave the Sambadrome at the end of each group parade, from the same point you will disembark on your Arrival. This is a very convenient service considering traffic and crowded locations throughout the city, as you may return all night long, always at the end of each group parade.

Carnival Tickets and Transfers Coupons will be delivered at the Port, right outside Passengers Terminal # 4, from 7am until 10am, on Friday the 25th of February, and for customers purchasing the 2-Day Tour, Tickets and Coupons will be delivered by the Tour Guide when boarding the Tour vehicle on Saturday Morning.
 

For passengers boarding the Ship in Rio, Parade Tickets and Transfers Coupons will be delivered at your Hotel/Airbnb upon your Arrival in the City. Delivery Fee included in all tickets.
