Top notch tour company! We booked our tours in Rio and in Recife with Do Brazil Right. Marcelo is wonderful to work with – great communication. We were provided a detailed sheet with timing and sites to visit. The tour guides were at the port to greet us and direct us to our van. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to use this company again.

Take DBR tours everywhere you go in Brazil We were on a cruise ship traveling South America and stopped in eleven ports in Brazil. With many positive reviews and our concerns about safety of independent travel, we decided to sign up 8 tours including Rio Carnival and 2 Half-day private group tours in Rio de Janeiro. The owner, Marcelo, customizes each tour to fit our cruise schedule to show us the great cities. He was always available before I even book his tours and during the tours. He showed up at the Rio cruise port with his team of tour guides to greet us (easily over 200 of us) to ensure we have great tours. His guides are hand picked and everyone was professional and spoke excellent English . Don’t bother paying twice more for a ship’s excursion to see the carnival. We were in sector 9 open front box raw A - we could almost touch the parade performers and could see their face expressions. We also took 2 half-day tour to see Christ Stature & Sugar Loaf Mountain with great Brazilian BBQ lunch on the first day and Ipanema Beach and Copacabana Beach on the second day. We were escorted to VIP entrance to skip long lines to get into train and rope way. His website’s tour description is very clear what to expect. He has many pictures of the sites we visit. All of his tour itineraries were carefully prepared - despite the two years of business closure due to the pandemic, he pulled off logistics to fulfill the demands. I normally plan my own site seeing but this is a country I don’t speak their language and safety is a big concern. Every tour we took, it was well worth the cost. I recommend his tours to everyone who visit Brazil!

Outstanding service - Marcelo helped us do Brazil Right Do Brazil Right and Marcelo helped us plan a 3 weeks holiday in Brazil in February 2023 and made it all go perfectly. From the moment we approached Do Brazil Right until we left Brazil, we had amazing and very knowledgeable service and always fast replies to our inquiries and questions.We first spend a week in Buzios, which is a lovely beach place 3 hours drive outside Rio. The hotel was ideally situation and a cozy place. Only drawback was that Buzios at the time of our visit was very crowded, but Marcello had given us a fair warning prior to our arrival.Next stop was Amazonas. We asked Marcelo for a cruise, and he found some options but also asked us to consider a lodge in the rainforest. We went with that proposal which was beyond fantastic and absolutely the right advice for us.We then returned Rio and stayed in a nice hotel located right at the Copacabana. We had a great one-day tour of the city with a very friendly guide and got to see all major attractions in a nice pace. The next day was time for us to see the Champions Parade of the carnival and it was an amazing experience and we had perfect seatings with a clear view to the parade. Seeing the champions parade was something Marcello proposed and we are very happy we accepted.Our final activity in Rio was seeing Flamengo playing the final on Maracanã stadium. This is not part of Marcello’s standard offerings but nevertheless he managed to get us great seats and good advice on how to get to and from the stadium.We travel a lot and have dealt with many tour operators – Do Brazil Right stand out as one of the absolute best.Thank you so much for making our visit to Brazil outstanding!

Do yourself a favour and use Do Brazil Right! Believe all the positive reviews below. We had a fantastic stay in Rio in Feb/March 2023 due in no small part to all the help provided by Marcelo. I initially found Do Brazil Right on the web as I was researching attending Carnaval. Marcelo's site has the best information on tips to enjoy Carnaval. Based on Marcelo's advice we attended the Champions' Parade on the weekend following the actuall Carnval competition. This turned out to be a brillant idea as things were probably a bit less crazy, and a bit less expensive. We got to see the top six samba schools during the parade. Our seats were fantastic. Everything Marcelo organized went smoothly with no hiccups. His communication was very prompt and his written and spoken English is excellent. I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of travelling to Brazil to engage Marcelo's services.

Lovely city Rio A great tour company, we did a two day comprehensive Rio tour covering all highlights of Rio. The guide with perfect English and the excellent driver with a delicious lunch at the well known steak house, was just perfect for our itinerary. Marcelo’s detailed communication in organizing the tour several months in advance with each prompt response to all our email messages was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this company to anyone traveling to Rio, you won’t be disappointed.

Great tour: Do Brazil Right DoBrazilRight arranged a 2-day tour of Rio for our cruise ship. There were 12 of us in the group, which they organized. They picked us up at the port. At the end of the 2nd day, they took those who were continuing on the cruise back to the ship and the rest of us to the airport. The guide, who spoke perfect English, was excellent. In two days we saw all the highlights of Rio. The tour included lunch both days and “skip the line” passes so we were able to maximize our time. Marcelo Zahar, the owner, was prompt in answering questions and communicating changes. Highly recommend DoBrazilRight for tours in Brazil.

Best Tour Company Ever! My husband and I booked a Full-Day and Half-Day Private Rio Tour, Carnival Tickets, and Carnival shuttle with "Do Brazil Right". Marcelo quickly and patiently responded to our many questions and advised us on the best Carnival ticket location. The day our cruise ship arrived in Rio, Do Brazil Right took care of everything, from start to finish. This made the tours enjoyable, stress-free, and perfect. Our guide Vitor was excellent, as was our driver Alex. Vitor gave us an amazing, comprehensive tour of Rio. It was like having a relative in Rio! This has to be the best tour company ever!

A great Day in Rio! Our private tour was a perfect way to fit all the sights of Rio into a day. Our guide and driver were excellent and the inside knowledge they had meant we were able to skip queues at all the major sites! Lunch was delicious at Botofogo and the day ended with sunset at copacabana. Shaun our guide knew so much about the city and made sure we were kept hydrated and comfortable at all times. He even treated us to festival decorations and fresh coconuts at the beach!

First Class We chose Do Brazil Right after thorough online research though of course, one can never be entirely sure that you will agree with other's comments. Still, it's the best you can do so we went ahead and booked and I'm so glad we did. Let me reassure that you can feel totally confident this company does exactly what it says on the tin. Right from our initial enquiry until the moment we left Rio we were totally looked after. Marcelo absolutely knows his stuff and his attention to detail has military precision. His local knowledge & advice during 'carnaval' has been invaluable. Everything ran like clockwork. From our pick up at the airport we were met by our lovely driver whom we had throughout our stay. On our excursions we were accompanied by smart English speaking guides, so interesting, with a bonus as they also had us skipping queues for all the attractions. Everything tailored to our preference, it couldn't be faulted. Front row seats to the carnaval with nothing between us and the performers 'Wow'. Escorted to our seats and collected on time afterwards, priceless.If you want to do Brazil right, look no further.
