DoBrazilRight’s Property Review – Miramar by Windsor is a 5-Star Deluxe Hotel, that has a fantastic Beachfront location on the south end of Copacabana, within walking distance to Ipanema Beach.
The rooms are the largest in Rio, with classic decor, very comfortable beds, large bathrooms, a great shower, breathtaking views from the rooftop pool, and outstanding Customer Service.
The Hotel was completely rebuilt for the Olympics. It was not even a Renovation, they built a brand-new Hotel.
Buffet Breakfast is one of the best in the entire country, with over 100 items, almost a brunch, with a great variety of bread, cold cuts, fruits, juices, and cakes.
It was the #1 Hotel in Rio on TripAdvisor recently for a few years in a row, although it´s still a Top 10. Superior Executive Oceanfront Room Highly Recommended!

Sector 9 is located right in the middle of the Sambadrome, granting gorgeous Panoramic views of the parade.
Grandstands are concrete steps bleachers, with no chairs. Sector 9 is the only Grandstand Sector with Assigned spaces. No need to arrive early at all!
We´ll be happy to send you a few Upgrade Options, such as the Open Front Boxes, which are assigned chairs on the Runway Level, definitely, the best seats in the entire venue (especially on Row A), taking your Carnival Experience to the highest level possible!

Round Trip Sambadrome Parade Transfers

Pick Up in front of the Hotel. A Voucher will be required to board the buses.

Since your seats are assigned, there are 2 different Pick-Up options from the Miramar by Windsor Hotel: 8pm and 10pm, and they need to be pre-scheduled.

Return Buses will be leaving the Sambadrome at the end of each Samba Group Parade, all night long! There are 6 groups parading per Night, which means there´ll be Buses leaving the Sambadrome at 6 different times, always at the end of each parade. The return Shuttle is not pre-scheduled.

Transfer Staff will be wearing a white T-Shirt with Orange Sleeves and also be holding ORANGE Flags
The meeting point for the Return Buses is at the Parking Lot right behind Sector 9 (odd Sectors) and Sector 8 (even Sectors), the same places you disembark when arriving at the Sambadrome. Parking lots are located inside the Sambadrome.

1st Stop – Christ Statue – An art deco statue located on top of Corcovado Hill, 709 meters above sea level, in the Tijuca National Park (the world´s largest Urban Forest), overlooking most of Rio de Janeiro, granting the most beautiful views of the city. In 2007, it was informally selected as one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Ride the Iconic Train to the top of Corcovado Hill.
The visit will last approx. 2 hours.

2nd Stop – Selaron Stairways – Located on an unassuming backstreet of Rio de Janeiro, a few blocks from Cinelandia metro station, tucked away behind bars, restaurants, and homes, lies the unexpected explosion of color and creativity known as the Selaron Stairs (or Escadaria Selaron in Portuguese). This fanciful creation sprung directly from the imagination of Chilean Jorge Selaron, as a “tribute to the Brazilian people” in the words of the artist.
The visit will last approx. 20 minutes.

3rd Stop – Sugar Loaf Mountain – Ride the World Famous Cable Cars (Fast-Pass Included on both ways), in two steps, all the way to the top of the Urca Hill, 215 meters high which already grants beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, Niterói Beaches and the Corcovado Mountain. The visit will last approx. 2 hours.+
