The 2023 Rio Carnival starts on the 18th of February, Saturday. The main Carnival events are the Parades held at the Sambadrome. It´s a fierce competition and the main parades take place on Sunday and Monday (19th & 20th of Feb), although on Saturday the 18th, we have the so-called Access Group, a Second Division of Samba Groups competing, and the winner gets upgraded to the main parades the next year. There are many super traditional Samba Groups parading on Saturday, and the Friday and Saturday parades get better and better every year, and this event will definitely be one of the highlights of the entire trip.

The great thing about Saturday Parade is the price. We can get you the best seat in the entire venue, Front Box on Sectors 5, 7, or 9, Row A Guaranteed, very centrally located and the closest to the parade (you´ll be able to touch the costumes) for R$965/US$191 per person, while the same seat on Sunday or Monday costs almost three times more expensive.  

DoBrazilRight will work its hardest to confirm all Parade Box Tickets together, side by side, for all Volendam Passengers, on either Sectors 5, 7, or 9. That is very possible especially on the Saturday parade, based on previous year´s experiences for the Volendam Passengers.

We can also reserve Round Trip Sambadrome Transfers for R$300/US$60 per person (already with a Special Discount of R$59 for passengers who purchase the Parade Tickets – Coupon Code SHUTTLE). Sambadrome Transfers will pick you up at the Port, right outside Passengers Terminal # 4 at pre-scheduled times, and will drop you off inside the Venue (which is an amazing plus). Return Buses leave the Sambadrome at the end of each group parade, from the same point you will disembark on your Arrival. This is a very convenient service considering traffic and crowded locations throughout the city, as you may return all night long, always at the end of each group parade.

Carnival Tickets and Transfers Coupons will be delivered at the Port, right outside Passengers Terminal # 4, from 8am until 10:30am, on the 18th of February, and for customers purchasing the 2-Day Tour, Tickets and Coupons will be delivered by the Tour Guide when boarding the Tour vehicle on Saturday Morning.
